Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ironwood Digital LLC ("we," "us") handles information for Ivory Maps (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

  • Account information:your email address, used to sign in and contact you.
  • Uploaded documents:the itinerary files you submit, and the structured itinerary and pages generated from them.
  • Payment information:handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card details. We store a Stripe customer identifier to manage your subscription.
  • Referral data:your personal referral code, and, if you were referred, a link to the account that referred you, so we can apply referral credits.
  • Attribution data:where you first came from when you signed up (for example, a referral link or campaign / utm_* tags), stored so we understand which channels work.
  • Usage data:basic analytics about how the Service is used.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in (set by our authentication provider). Attribution cookies (for example im_ref, im_src) remember, for up to 30 days, the referral or campaign you first arrived from so we can credit referrals and measure sources. Product analytics cookies set by PostHog recognise your browser between visits so we can count how many people reach each step of signing up. Advertising cookies set by Google are used only to tell us whether someone who arrived from one of our search adverts went on to try the product — see below.

Advertising

We advertise on Google Search. If you arrive from one of those adverts, Google's conversion tag records whether you then completed the demo or started a trial, so we can tell which searches are worth paying for. This runs on our marketing pages and inside your account only.

It does not run on the pages we publish for your clients — a shared itinerary, a proposal or a review link — and the addresses of those pages are never sent to Google or to any other third party. We do not report page views to Google, only those two steps, and we do not use advertising cookies to follow you around other websites.

Product Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used: which pages are visited, and a short list of steps we record by name — trying the demo, creating an account, starting a trial, and subscribing. Once you sign in, these are associated with your account identifier. We do not send PostHog your email address.

We do not use automatic click or form capture, and we do not record your screen. Addresses of shared itinerary and proposal pages are replaced with a generic placeholder before anything is sent, so a link to a client's trip is never transmitted to PostHog, and pages published for your clients are not measured at all.

How We Use It

  • To generate your itinerary pages and provide the Service.
  • To manage your account, plan, and billing.
  • To send you occasional product updates and promotional emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
  • To improve and secure the Service.

Service Providers We Share Data With

To operate the Service, limited data is processed by trusted providers:

  • Anthropic (Claude):the text of your uploaded itinerary is sent to generate structured data and written descriptions.
  • Google (Places & Maps):destination and place names are used to fetch photos and generate a route map.
  • Supabase:database, authentication, and storage of your account and itineraries.
  • Stripe:subscription payments.
  • Resend:delivery of account and promotional emails.
  • Vercel:application hosting.

We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only to provide the Service or as required by law.

AI Model Training

Your documents and itineraries are not used to train AI models — not by us, and not by Anthropic. Anthropic's commercial terms for the API state that inputs and outputs submitted through it are not used to train their models. We do not train, fine-tune, or otherwise build models on your content either, and we do not licence it to anyone who does. What you upload is used to build your itinerary and for nothing else.

Shareable Links

Generated itineraries are published at an unguessable link so you can share them with clients. Anyone with the link can view that itinerary, so treat links as you would any shareable document and avoid posting them publicly if they contain private details.

Engagement Analytics

When someone opens a shared itinerary page, we log lightweight, first-party view events (a page open, a random per-visit identifier, and how long each day was on screen) so the advisor who created that itinerary can see engagement, such as how many times it was opened and which day drew the most attention. These events are not tied to a viewer's identity, and no third-party analytics or advertising tag runs on a shared itinerary page at all.

Data Retention & Security

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. You can request deletion of your account and itineraries at any time.

Marketing Emails

If you have a free account, we may occasionally send you promotional emails about Ivory Maps. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all future promotional emails. Account and itinerary emails (such as sign-in and billing) are transactional and are not affected by unsubscribing.

Your Rights & Choices

  • Download your data: export a copy of your account, itineraries, proposals, saved wording, and referral history anytime from Dashboard → Your data & privacy.
  • Delete your data: permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself from Dashboard → Your data & privacy. This is immediate and irreversible and cancels any active subscription.
  • Cancel your subscription anytime from your account.
  • Unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in any such email.
  • You may also contact us with any privacy request.
